Work Permits

To be eligible to work in Thailand you must have a valid work permit. To apply for a work permit, the following is mandatory: for each work permit your company must have at least Bt2 million registered capital, you must earn a monthly salary of between Bt35,000 baht to Bt50,000 baht and have at least four Thais employees per visa application. Your job description must be permitted by law; your job must be beneficial to Thailand; your job cannot be carried out by a Thai national; and you must hold a non-Immigrant B visa.

Visas

After you have been granted a work permit, you can apply for a one-year visa. First, you should apply for a three-month non-Immigrant B visa and then extend it to a year.

Visa Extension at Cambodia Border
If you are a businessman who was granted a one-year visa from abroad, immigration law requires you to travel out of the Kingdom of Thailand and re-enter with an Non-B visa stamp every 3 months. We recommend you go to the Cambodia border at Sra Kaew Province.

Or, if you are a tourist and want to extend your tourist visa for a further 30 days, the Cambodia border is the shortest route to stamp your visa, just only 250 kilometers from Bangkok.

We render the service of transportation: a Mercedes Benz E 280, together with an experienced English-speaking driver. The round trip (to and from the Cambodia border) takes only 7 hours. Our fees for the service (available every day) are as follows:

  1. One Passenger: 5,000 / Round Trip
  2. Two Passengers: 8,000 / Round Trip

Visa extension service (VISA on Arrival)
30 days period, by private car to Cambodia within 7 Hours of round trip only 3,000 Baht per person (If more than 1 person will charge 2,000 Baht per person).

Tourist visa application to Lao by Private car (3 days and 2 nights) at Thai Embassy in Vientiane: 1 night in Nong Khai and 1 night in Lao only 12,000 Baht per person.
